Upon arrival, please park in the gravel car park within the Wakabaya premises. Please do not park in the neighbouring car parks.
From Takamatsu Airport 高松空港
If you take the route 56 bus bound for Takamatsu Station that departs from Takamatsu Airport at 10:00, 11:34, 13:34, 15:30, and 17:30, you can go directly to the "Hanazono-cho 花園町" bus stop nearest Wakabaya in about 45 minutes. Otherwise, take the airport limousine bus as below.
From JR Takamatsu Station JR高松駅
JAPAN RAIL PASS and Seishun-18-Ticket 青春18切符 can’t be use it for the Kotoden line. If you want to save on travel expenses, you can get off the train at JR Ritsurin Station 栗林駅and walk for 20 minutes to Wakabaya. But if you don't want to walk such a long way with heavy luggage or have an ALL SHIKOKU Rail Pass 四國鐵路周遊券, it’s definitely more convenient to get off at JR Takamatsu Station 高松駅 and catch the bus or walk the short distance to Takamatsu Chikko Station 高松築港駅 and take the Kotoden line to Hanazono Station 花園駅.
From JR Ritsurin Station JR栗林駅
If you want to save money on transportation you can use the JAPAN RAIL PASS or Seishun-18-Ticket 青春18切符 all the way to JR Ritsurin Station 栗林駅 and walk from there to Wakabaya. It takes about 20 minutes. But if you don't want to walk such a long way with heavy luggage or have an ALL SHIKOKU Rail Pass 四國鐵路周遊券, it’s definitely more convenient to get off at JR Takamatsu Station 高松駅 and catch the bus or walk the short distance to Takamatsu Chikko Station 高松築港駅 and take the Kotoden line to Hanazono Station 花園駅.
From Takamatsu Port 高松港
Takamatsu Port is very near the bus stop and the Kotoden Chikko train station. Please note that the Jumbo Ferry from Kobe 神戸 via Shodoshima Sakate Port 小豆島坂手港 arrives at Takamatsu East Port 高松東港, not Takamatsu Port 高松港. Please see “From Kobe by Jumbo Ferry” for directions if you are coming by Jumbo Ferry.

From Takamatsu Station Express Bus Terminal
Express Buses run from Tokyo 東京, Yokohama 横浜, Nagoya 名古屋, Kyoto 京都, Osaka 大阪, Kobe 神戸, Matsuyama 松山, Tokushima 徳島, Kochi 高知, Hiroshima 広島 and Fukuoka 福岡 directly to Takamatsu 高松. If you travel without the JAPAN RAIL PASS, these buses are cheaper than shinkansen or express train and faster than local trains.
