以前、若葉屋のブログでもご案内しました、御宿印帳（ごしゅくいんちょう）。
2020年12月19日に始まったクラウドファンディングは、60万円の目標金額に対して、140万円超のご支援を、のべ242人の方々からいただき、2021年1月23日をもって終了しました。
旅が好きなみなさま、ゲストハウスを応援してくださるみなさま、本当にありがとうございます。
Guest House Wakabaya participates in a Guest House Stamp Book (named as “goshukuin-cho”) Project in Japan.
The project has collected more than 1,400,000 JPY thanks to as many as 242 travel fans and guest house supporters through crowdfunding.
さて、その御宿印帳への押印が2021年3月22日（月）より始まりました。
そして、まさかそのわずか1日後に、御宿印帳をお持ちの方が若葉屋に現れました！
早っ！
The stamping has started on 22nd March 2021, and the first book holder checked in Wakabaya on the next day!
So fast!
チェックアウト日の早朝、硯や筆を準備し、まずは練習を繰り返します。
そして、お客さんからお預かりした、まっさらの御宿印帳の1ページ目に、筆を走らせました。
「ゲストハウス若葉屋」をモンゴル文字でね。
（私の大学時代の専攻はモンゴル語なので。）
I don’t stamp.
I prepared an inkstone and a brush to calligraph Mongolian scripts!
(My major in the university was the Mongolian language.)
モンゴル語で宿のことを、зочид буудал ゾッチッド・ボーダルと言って、直訳すると、「旅人の駅」。
なんとも、遊牧の民らしい言葉です。
Mongolian calls an inn “зочид буудал – zochid buudal”, which means “a station for a traveler”.
It’s a nomadic word.
モンゴル文字は、世界で唯一、縦書きで、行を左から右に書く文字です。
ここに書いたのは左から順に、ゾッチッド・ボーダル・ワカバヤです。
Mongolian script is the only character in the world written vertically and from left to right.
I calligraphed “zochid buudal wakabaya” vertically from left to right.
手書きなので、100点とはなりませんが、唯一無二と思って、この旅の記念を受け取っていただければと思います。
My handwriting can not be perfect however, I hope our guests will like the unique memorial of the trip.
御宿印帳は北海道から沖縄まで、約60軒の参画ゲストハウスに持参して宿泊すれば、各ゲストハウスのオリジナル御宿印がもらえます。
さらに、その大半の宿では、御宿印帳持参特典が付いてきます。

A guest with the “goshukuin-cho” will get the original stamps or calligraphies at about 60 guest houses in Japan participating in the project.
Moreover, most guest houses prepare a special benefit for the book holder.
Wakabaya gives a travel toothbrush set, so take it with you on your future trip.
また、御宿印帳は参画ゲストハウスにて、1冊1,600円で販売しています。
You can purchase the goshukuin-cho at the participating guest houses at 1,600 JPY.
