8月23,24日に行われたモンバスこと、モンスターバッシュ。
“Monster Bash”, an outdoor music festival has been held on 23rd and 24th Aug in Kagawa.
おかげさまで、ゲストハウス若葉屋も7月10日のオープン、予約受付開始と同時にあれよあれよと満室になっていきました。
もちろん、大半のお客さんが二十歳前後と若い人たちで、モンバス組。
若さと元気がはじけてました！
Thanks to it, Guest House Wakabaya also got full.
Most of the guest was around 20 years old and of course, their purpose of the visit was Monster Bash.
Wakabaya was filled with their youthful ebullience those days!
モンバス期間中は香川県全域の宿泊施設が軒並み満室となりまして、若葉屋にお泊まりのお客さんの中にも、「ゲストハウスは初めて」という方がけっこう居られたのもいつもと違うところでした。
初めてのゲストハウスはどうでしたか？
こういうのがきっかけで、ゲストハウスファンがどんどん増えていってくれたらいいなと思います。
The stay in wakabaya was the first experience of a guest house for some of the guests because any accommodation was full all over the Kagawa during Monster Bash.
How was the first guest house stay?
I wish that the guest house gets more fans at such an opportunity.
さて、モンバスが終わって、ドミトリーの全ベッドを掃除中。
うちの奥さんも助っ人に加わり、二人体制にて。
一人での満室清掃は、死んでしまいます。
Well, I started cleaning after the Monster Bash with my wife.
If I clean rooms alone after a full night, I would die.
敷布団はときどき、布団掃除機で清潔に。
We clean mattress futons with futon cleaner sometimes.
掛け布団は天日干し（左）。
布団がたくさん干せるように、我が家のベランダは横長です。
枕もこうやって干します。
百均で売っている便利グッズです。
We dry cover futon in the sun.
Our balcony is large to dry them.
We dry pillows too like this.
怒涛の掃除を終え、玄関前に咲いた百日紅（サルスベリ）の花に癒やされます。
Flowers of crape myrtle at the entrance healed us after cleaning.
オープンして最初のモンバス、終わり。
モンバス組のあるお客さんが出発のときに、「また来年！」と。
The first Monster Bash for wakabaya has gone.
One of the guests said “See you next year!” at their leaving.
また来年、お待ちしております。
We also wait for Monster Bash and guests next year.
