連休最終日である今日も、3つある個室は満室になりました。
ありがたい限りです。

まさかの軽トラでのお越し。
助手席には電動工具が乗っています。
この軽トラを含めて昨夜は計3台の車が駐車場に泊まりました。
「ゲストハウスに駐車場のニーズはあるのだろうか」と思った時期もありましたが、作ってみて良かったです。
計4台まで駐車できますよ。

Though I had doubted whether the parking space is necessary for a guest house, now I’m sure that it’s helpful for many guests.
そして、ちらほら見かけるのがこの、高松市のレンタサイクル。
市が回収した放置自転車を整備して、このレンタサイクルに活用されています。
24時間200円。
高松駅前で借りて瓦町駅で返すということもできます。
And I see this city rental bicycle often.
Takamatsu city collects left bicycles on the road, maintains and reuses them as rental bicycles.
It costs only 200 JPY per 24 hours.
You can lend it at Takamatsu station and return it at Kawaramachi station, for example.

「ゲストハウスって、どんな人が泊まるん？」と聞かれれば、「バックパッカーかな」と答えることが多いのですが、ご覧のとおり、想像するようなこてこてのバックパッカー以外にも、本当にいろんなお客さんが泊まりに来られます。
When someone asks me “What kind of people use a guesthouse?”, I usually reply to it “Backpackers”.
But, as you see above, various people stay at a guest house, not only typical backpackers.
