さて、井戸汲みの特訓の後は、ポルトガル式建築の並ぶ通りを散策です。
思いがけず入った道が、地球の歩き方マカオの1ページ目の写真と同じ通りでした。

まったく観光客はおらず、雰囲気のいい通りです。

Speaking of Macau, this 聖保祿大教堂遺址 Ruínas da Antiga Catedral de São Paulo is the symbol of Macau.

香港・マカオの最終日。
ホテルの朝食バイキングのあと、ホテルが建つモンハの丘を散歩し、幸太郎はロッククライマーになりました。
On the last day of our trip to HK and Macau, Kotaro bravely climbed a rock on the hill.
マカオから香港国際空港直行の船。
積荷を船からクレーンで上げ下げするなんて、幸太郎的にはもう、たまりません。
なかなか出国ゲートに向かってくれませんでした。
We took a direct boat from Macau to HK International Airport.
Both the boat and the crane carrying the passenger’s luggage attracted Kotaro so much and he didn’t want to go to the departure gate.
日曜日と火曜日の香港発高松便は、高松空港20:15着です。
着陸の少し前から窓の下を眺めていると、眼下の讃岐平野は、香港に比べれば、ほぼ真っ暗同然でした。
空港バスで瓦町に着くのは21:35で、その頃の若葉屋周辺を行き交う人はほぼ、居ません。
大都会の香港なら、その時間はまだまだ、街中が明々としていて、通りも電車も人で溢れています。
今年は大勢の香港からのお客さんが若葉屋に宿泊されています。
「きっと、不安な気持ちで高松空港に降り立ち、バスに乗り、夜道を歩いて若葉屋に来られたんだな」
そう思いながら、夜のチェックインに臨むだけでも、お客さんの不安と緊張を少しでもほぐすことができるのかな、と思いました。
Many HK tourists stay at our guesthouse this year and most of them arrive at Takamatsu airport at 20:15 by HK Express.
The landscape around Takamatsu airport is almost black, comparing with HK.
When the airport bus arrives downtown at 21:35, few people walk around our guesthouse.
On the other hand, in still bright HK, streets and trains are filled with many people.
“Probably, they landed on Takamatsu, took a bus, and walked along the dark street to our guesthouse with a scare.”
When we welcome their arrival with such feeling, we can calm their uneasy feeling and tiredness.
