2019年11月18日から、桂林・マカオと南インドへ旅に行ってきました。
18泊19日の旅ですが、ムーミー（近所のスーパー）へ買い物に行くときと同じバックパックで、旅立ちです。
荷物は少ないのが良い。
I traveled to Guilin / Macau and South India from 18th November 2019.
For the 19 day journey, I left home with the backpack which I use for my daily grocery shopping.
Small stuff is the best for the trip.
高松空港→香港国際空港→マカオと移動して、翌日からは長男・幸太郎（5）とのふたり旅です。
事前にふたりで作ってきた旅のしおりを見て、旅程を確認します。
On the second day in Macau, I separated from family with our 5-year-old son, Kotaro.
He checks his own handmade itinerary which we made together in advance.
マカオからイミグレーションを越えると、そこは中国 広東省 珠海（Zhūhǎi）です。
Trip.comという中国の予約サイトで、列車は事前に予約し、クレジットカード決済も済ませておいたので、あとはこの珠海駅の窓口で切符を受け取るだけ。
When we crossed the immigration from Macau, it was Zhūhǎi, Guangdong Province, China.
I already had purchased the train tickets in advance online, so I just received a ticket at this Zhuhai Station window.
本当に便利になったものです。
15年ほど前、大学生の頃に何度か、中国を旅行しました。
その頃は事前予約はもちろんできず、列車の運行ダイヤも駅に行ってから確認し、行列になっていない、混沌とした窓口で切符を獲得するような状況でした。
あれはあれで楽しかったですが、便利になった今となっては、あの不便な旅はできなくなってきています。
その代わり、こうやって子連れでも安心して、列車の旅が楽しめるようになりました。
It's really useful.
About 15 years ago, when I was a university student, I traveled to China several times.
At that time, we could check the train schedule only at the station and advanced reservation was impossible, of course.
We always had to queue (but there was not a line) at the chaotic station window.
That was fun, but now that it became convenient, that inconvenient journey is no longer possible.
Instead, even an individual foreign family can now enjoy a train trip in China with peace of mind.
珠海から400km強、北西へ。
高速鉄道とバスを乗り継いで、広西チワン族自治区にある陽朔（阳朔 Yángshuò）に到着です。
We traveled more than 400 km from Zhuhai to Yangshuo in Guangxi by bullet trains and bus.
「地球の歩き方」には載っていませんが、英語や中国語の旅動画やブログで、あるスポットを見つけていました。
そこへ行くには、このローカルな住宅街の路地を通り抜けていきます。
Although not listed in Japanese written guidebook, I found a nice spot in travel videos and blogs in English and Chinese websites.
To get there, we passed through this local residential alley.
テレビ塔のある山頂です。
水墨画やドラゴンボールに出てくるような、山がにょきにょきと立ち並ぶ絶景。
幸太郎も思わず、「うわー！」と声を出します。
山登りはどこへ行っても、いいものです。
It is a mountaintop with a TV tower.
A spectacular view of mountains, like the ones in Chinese ink paintings or Dragon Balls.
"Wow!"
The small traveler was also moved by that view.
Climbing is good anywhere in the world for us.

翌日は、ゲストハウスのお兄さんに手配してもらった、子ども椅子付きの自転車をレンタルして、サイクリングです。
お兄さんはほぼ英語が通じませんでしたが、翻訳アプリを使いながら、一生懸命、見つけてくれました。
The next day, we rented a bicycle with a child's chair, which was arranged by a guest house staff.
He could hardly speak English, but he was helpful for us with a translation app.
遇龍河（遇龙河 Yùlóng Hé）で竹製のいかだで川下りをしたり、この日もまた、山登りを楽しみました。
We enjoyed the bamboo raft on the river and climbing again.
陽朔から桂林（Guìlín）にバスで移動してきました。
街歩きをしたり、湖のナイトクルーズを楽しんだり、サトウキビ汁絞り機をガン見したり（写真）。
このあと、おばちゃんがサトウキビを切って、幸太郎にくれました。
After moved to Guilin by bus, we walked around the city, enjoyed a night cruise on the lakes and watched the sugarcane juice squeezer (pictured).
She kindly cut sugarcane for Kotaro.
ふたり旅、3泊目、最後の夜。
今回の度、最大の目玉の一つは、この夜行列車です。
桂林北駅のホームに列車 K950次 が入線し、幸太郎は走ります。
The 3rd night, our last night.
One of the biggest highlights was this night train.
Train K950 came to the platform of Guilin North Station and Kotaro ran to our car.
日本の5歳児、中国の夜行列車 硬臥（2等寝台）をぐいぐいと進みます。
この列車で桂林から広州（广州 Guǎngzhōu）へと戻りました。
A five-year-old Japanese boy tried the 2nd class sleeper train in China.
This train took us back to Guangzhou from Guilin.
ふたり旅の最後。
背後の建物が、中国・マカオ間のイミグレーション。
これを越えたら、マカオです。
3泊4日の大冒険でした。
The building behind is the immigration between China and Macau.
It was our big 4-day-adventure.
マカオに戻ってお母さんたちと合流したら、幸太郎はまた甘たれ小僧に戻った…
かと思いきや、
After returning to Macau, Kotaro came back to a little boy nestling up to his mother…
やっぱり旅人でした。
お母さんと一緒に手を横に出して、バスを止めていました。
But he was still a great traveler.
He raised his hand to stop the bus as his mother did.
さて、11月25日、ここで家族は香港国際空港から高松空港へ帰り、私は香港国際空港からインドはベンガルール、ケンペゴウダ国際空港（ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ）へと飛びます。
ここからまた、まったく違う旅が続くのです。
Now, on 25th November, my family returned from Hong Kong International Airport to Takamatsu Airport, and I flew to Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, India.
Another journey continues there.
