5月末に完成した自宅側に続き、ゲストハウス側もほぼ、完成しました。
工事が終わって、どんどん備品などを入れているところです。
The construction of the guest house part has almost done after our private house part.
After construction now I install equipment there.

玄関にかけてのアプローチには、モミジやサルスベリ、サザンカなどが植わりました。
Trees have been planted along with the approach to the entrance.
玄関横の照明は建具屋さんに凝って造ってもらいました。
We had a joiner our light sign manufactured skillfully.

金属製ではなく、温かみのある木製です。
The bicycle parking area is made of wood, not metal.
玄関は、
木製引き戸＋オートクローズ＋オートロック＋テンキーロックという特別仕様。
ゲストハウスをあちこち泊まった経験から挙がったこの要望。
要望を出す側は簡単なもんですが、作る側はこれ、めちゃくちゃ大変だったみたいです。

居間の壁に取り付けたインターホン。
これを押すと宿主のスマホが鳴って、通話できます。
自宅に居たり、庭に居たり、外出中でも画像付きで通話できるシロモノです。

近所のスーパーやコンビニで食材を買ってきて、簡単な自炊ができます。
インスタントコーヒーや紅茶なども置いています。

Instant coffee and tea are free.
Supermarket and convenience store is near.
居間には共同の洗濯機（1回100円）やパソコン、観光情報もあります。
You can use a washing machine with 100JPY and internet.
Of course, you can get touristic local information.

畳や襖なども入りました。
ゲストハウスに泊まってけっこう探すのが洗濯物の干し場所。
小さな物干しを置いています。
屋外にも物干し竿を設置します。

You can use a small drying tool, which when we stay at the guest house we want.
ドミトリーのベッドの位置は3週間前に決定。
部屋が広く感じられるように。
ベッドの昇り降りや動線も確保。
We decided the layout of the beds in the dormitory as a drawing above.
To make guests feel a room wider and to get rising-falling ladder easier.
できあがったドミトリー。
カーテンは既製品を買って、それを切ったり縫ったりして経費削減です。
プリーツテープという製品を使うと、簡単にカーテンが作れます。
宿泊施設のカーテンはすべて、防炎仕様であるべし、と消防法で定められています。
ただし、消防法で扱うカーテンは丈1m以上、と定義付けされていて、うちのこのカーテンはそれより短いので、カーテンではありません。
法律っておもしろい。

ベッドの枕元。
ドミトリーには鍵がないので、各ベッドの枕元には鍵付きの小物入れを造りました。
海外のゲストハウスではよく、財布やパスポートは枕の下に敷いて寝ていました。
さらに、消灯後にもちょっとした灯りが欲しい人のために、読書灯。
睡眠中にスマホやデジカメを充電できるようにコンセント。
どれも実際にドミトリーに泊まってみて、「これはいい！」と思った設備で、それをゲストハウス若葉屋のベッドに取り付けました。

When I stay at a guest house without security box, I sleep with putting valuables under the pillow.
And you can use a small light and a outlet to charge your smartphone or camera.
They are all the equipments we want when staying at dormitory.
今日、買い物に街に出たら、商店街で「四国マルシェ」が開かれていました。
そこで中田養蜂さんの「タマネギ蜂蜜」を購入。
ゲストハウス若葉屋から自転車でちょっと行けば、この高松中央商店街にすぐ着きます。
When I went downtown today, I found Shikoku marché at the shopping arcade.
I bought onion honey made by Nakata Beekeepers.
It takes few minutes from Guest House Wakabaya to this Takamatsu shopping arcade by bicycle.
さて明日は高松市保健所の現地検査です。
来たれ、旅館営業許可！
