先週は岡山・尾道へ１泊２日でお出かけ。
まずは岡山県内のゲストハウスを３軒、訪問&ご挨拶。
近隣のゲストハウスを知っておくことで、ゲストハウス若葉屋に宿泊されたお客さんに、次の旅の行き先やゲストハウスを紹介しやすくなります。
これも、ゲストハウスの大切な役目です。
実際に自分の足で訪ねて、オーナーやスタッフの方々と会話してみることで、単にゲストハウスのウェブサイトやSNSだけではわからないことがわかってきます。
I visited and greeted three guesthouses in Okayama prefecture.
It is important work for us to learn about neighboring guesthouses because we sometimes need to suggest the next destination and accommodation to our guests.

いきなり、乾杯の写真になってしまいましたが、この前には各ゲストハウスによるプレゼンがまじめに行われました。
ゲストハウスそれぞれの濃いキャラクターと、熱い思いがにじみ出てくるプレゼンでした。
集まったゲストハウスは兵庫、岡山、広島、島根、鳥取、香川、愛媛、高知から10軒を超しました。
After passionate presentations by each guesthouse owner or staff, a party started!
Owners and staff from more than ten guesthouses gathered and it was a great harvest for me, whose guesthouse wakabaya will have the first anniversary soon.
ゲストハウス若葉屋はまもなく、開業1年。
学びの多い1泊2日の出張（？）となりました。
