5月21日、「高松観光プロモーション事業」の会合に行ってきました。
縁あって、ゲストハウス若葉屋もこの事業のうちのひとつに参画することになっていて、会合にも同席させていただきました。
久しぶりにネクタイ締めて、スーツ着て、革靴履いての外出です。
会合では宿泊業に限らず、様々な業種の事業者が集って、互いの事業について質疑応答したり、意見を述べたりと、刺激と実りある時間となりました。
これまで自分の知らなかったところでもこうやって、高松の観光を盛り上げていこうとする官民の動きがいくつもあります。
会議室からは美しい瀬戸内海と島々が見えます。
帰宅途中に本屋さんとまちのシューレ963へ寄り道。
プロモーション事業の事業者が関わっている本や、ずっと気になっていた香川に関する本を買ってきました。
さっそく、ぱらぱらと読んでみると、地元民でも知らなかった、香川の魅力がびっしりと書かれていて、おもしろいです。
ゲストハウス若葉屋のお客さんが読めるところに置くようにするつもりです。
あと、ゲストハウス若葉屋の看板は自作するつもりです。
大工さんに板材の余りをもらって、それにデザインを印刷した紙を貼ってみたところ。
ぼちぼち、この紙を型抜きして塗っていこうと思います。
Movements for promoting tourism in Takamatsu
I attended a meeting of the Takamatsu Tourism Promotion Project on 21st May.
We asked questions and exchanged our ideas with each other.
There are many movements promoting tourism here by publics and privates, which I hadn’t known.
This meeting was very worthful for me.
We can see the beautiful Setonaikai inland sea and islands.
I stopped in a book store and “machi no schule 963” to buy some books about Kagawa.
Attractive information is written on them, even local people don’t notice.
You will be able to read them in a common space in wakabaya.
I will paint a signboard of wakabaya soon by myself.
