ゲストハウス若葉屋、工事は着々と進んでいます。
建物は庭や駐車場含め、5月末には完成予定です。
1か月後にはもう、できあがっています、たぶん。
オープンはまだ、営業許可申請などもあるので、さらにもう少し先になりますが。
今のところ、こんな感じです。
The construction of Guest House Wakabaya is progressing forward.
It will be competed at the end of this month.
The opening will be later after obtaining a permit.
まずは正面玄関。
扉は大工さんの造り付けになります。
鍵の部分は夜間の施錠、出入りができるように電気式のナンバーキーを入れます。
The entrance door will be hand-made by a master carpenter.
We will install an electrical number key to enable guests to go out and come back safely at night also.
玄関入ってすぐが共同キッチン＆居間です。
台所設備、座卓、共同の洗濯機、パソコン、観光パンフレットなどを置いていきます。
We will put kitchen equipment, a low table, a public washing machine, a PC and valuable travel brochures here.
キッチン＆居間を通り過ぎると、シャワーブースが既に入っています。
ゲストハウスユーザーにはおなじみですね。
A shower booth, well-known by guest house users, has been already installed.
こちらはゲストハウスユーザーにはあまり馴染みのない、風呂です。
若葉屋はゆったりとくつろげる、風呂も用意しています。
This is a modular bath, uncommon for a guest house but if you want to relax, use it.
階段を上がりまして、

こちらが5畳半の客室です。
板の上半分は押入れ、下半分は居室スペースです。
今は仮支えの棒が入っていますが、この押入れの下まで足を伸ばして寝れます。
収納スペースを確保しつつ、少しでも居室スペースを広く取ろうという工夫です。
This is a large private room.
The space of the upper half of a board is for bedding or baggage and the lower is for guests.
This is a device to secure limited space.
この客室には、古家からいただいた違い棚が取り付けられています。
These are stepped antique shelves, took out from an old Japanese house.
ドミトリーです。
二段ベッドが4台入って、定員8名。
二段ベッドも大工さんの造り付けになります。
This room will be a dormitory with four double-deck beds for eight guests.
These beds will be hand-made, too.
客室の入り口。
ここに、古家からいただいた少し小さな引き戸が付きます。
昔の家の建具は現代人にとってはどれも小さいので、身長175cm以上の人は頭を打たないように、要注意。
An antique sliding door will be installed into this entrance of the room.
The door is low because old Japanese fittings are low in general for today’s tall person.
When you pass here, watch your head!
