瀬戸芸はまだ今日、明日、明後日も開催中ですが、ゲストハウス若葉屋はひと足お先に、今日から5連休に入ります。
今日からは私がちょっとだけ、旅に出てきます。
Before the closing of the Setouchi Triennale 2016, we close our guesthouse for five days for “my” holidays.
春会期、夏会期、秋会期と繰り広げられてきた瀬戸内国際芸術祭2016。
昨夜もいつものように、船の時刻表を広げて、お客さんたちと島めぐりの作戦会議をし、今朝もいつものように、6時台からチェックアウト。
満室だったお客さんがどんどん、チェックアウトされていき、10時頃、最後のおひとりがチェックアウト。
いつもなら、朝、全員が出られたといっても、お部屋には連泊のお客さんの荷物が置いてあったり、冷蔵庫にも連泊のお客さんの食べ物があったりしました。
でも、今朝は全員がチェックアウト。
I gave travel tips to our guests with boat timetables last night as usual and checking out started from 6 am this morning as usual.
At 10 am, the last guest checked out.
If it was usual, even after all guests went out, some of them who stay here for several days leave their belongings in the room and fridge.
旅人の気配が完全になくなった朝でした。
But, all guests left this morning and wakabaya got completely empty.
チェックインもないので、急いで掃除をする必要もなく、布団だけ干したら、自転車で高松港へ行ってみることに。
もう、7時台、8時台の船のラッシュは過ぎていましたが、それでも10:45高松港発 直島経由 豊島行きの高速艇には、多国籍な旅行者たちの行列ができていました。
We don’t have check-in today, so we don’t have to clean the house in a hurry today.
I rode a bicycle to Takamatsu Port and found a queue of international tourists for a boat to Naoshima and Teshima, as usual.
高松港のすぐ近く、「国境を越えて・海」にて。
青空とコスモスがきれいです。
