先日、特別名勝 栗林公園で和船に乗ってきました。
栗林公園の入園料が410円で、和船はさらに追加で610円と、入園料よりも高いのですが、この和船が良いらしいと、あちこちで聞いていましたので。
I went to the Ritsurin Garden 栗林公園 to take a Japanese-style boat.

栗林公園は高松藩の代々の藩主たちが100年以上の歳月をかけて築き上げた、大名庭園です。
江戸時代、高松藩のお殿様が舟遊びをされたように、約30分かけて、南湖を周遊します。
船頭さんの後ろに見えるのは、掬月亭（きくげつてい）と呼ばれるお茶室。
香川を代表する三大建築に数えられるとのこと。
ちなみに、あとのふたつは、日本最古の芝居小屋「金丸座」（琴平町）と、丹下健三の代表作「香川県庁舎東館」（高松市）です。
The Ritsurin Garden had been created for over 100 years by lords of Takamatsu Domain 高松藩 during Edo Era 江戸時代.
Now we can enjoy the boat ride on “Nanko Lake 南湖” such as a lord that time.
A house behind a boatman is a teahouse named “Kikugetsutei 掬月亭”.
It is one of the three great buildings in Kagawa prefecture 香川県.
The others are “Kanamaruza 金丸座” in Kotohira 琴平: the oldest Kabuki 歌舞伎 playhouse in Japan and “Kagawa Prefectural Office” in Takamatsu 高松: a modernist architecture designed by Kenzo Tange 丹下健三.
