1. Simple procedure
To make an OTA reservation, the booker is required to register as a member, log in, and enter credit card information in some cases. Direct booking does not require any of these tiresome works.

After submitting the request from the form, you will receive an automatic email reply in a few minutes to confirm your request. After that, Wakabaya will check your request and send a booking confirmation email. Also to a phone booker, the booking confirmation will be sent by SMS.
Cancellations and changes of direct bookings and questions can be easily made by email and phone. On the other hand, to cancel and change an OTA booking, customers may be asked to complete the procedures on the OTA’s “My booking page” or App themselves because some OTAs do not authorize us to manage it.
2. Easy-to-understand price

On busy days, we often stop accepting OTA bookings or accept OTA bookings only for consecutive stays. However, direct bookings may be available depending on the availability.
In addition, we also accept consultations and reservations for renting the whole house on direct booking.
4. Flexible to change or cancel
Free cancellation until 9:00 pm on the intended check-in day is allowed for a direct booking. On the other hand, OTA bookings are subject to the stricter cancellation policies of each OTA.
Also, even if the number of guests or number of nights is reduced due to the sudden change of your plan on the day of check-in or after check-in, the difference can be reduced and refunded at Wakabaya for a direct booker. An OTA booker is required to negotiate with the OTA for a refund of the difference because the OTA booking is a contract between the booker and the OTA.
