Go shopping before dinner
Most of the shops along the Takamatsu Shopping Arcade close around 19:00. Drug stores open until 21:00 or 22:00 and “You Me Town Takamatsu” opens until 21:00.
Avoid crowds on the holidays
Japan has many national holidays. Hotels, transport, and tourist spots get crowded during consecutive holidays. Especially, they get terribly congested during “Golden Week” in May, “Obon” in August, and the end/beginning of the year.
