少し涼しくなってきましたね。
It is getting cooler a little.
これから秋になっていくにつれて、若葉屋で増えてくるのがお遍路さんです。若葉屋は83番札所・一宮寺と84番札所・屋島寺を結ぶ遍路道のちょうど真ん中あたりにあるので、春、秋はたくさんのお遍路さんをお迎えしています。
As autumn comes, more and more pilgrims “ohenro-san” visit Wakabaya. Wakabaya is located in the middle of the pilgrimage route between No. 83, Ichinomiya-ji Temple, and No. 84, Yashima- ji Temple. So, we welcome many ohenro-san in spring and autumn.
若葉屋をチェックアウトした日に、84番屋島寺、85番八栗（やくり）寺、86番志度寺、87番長尾寺と打って、長尾寺周辺で一泊。その翌日にいよいよ、88番札所・大窪寺で結願（けちがん）されるという方が大半です。
On the day ohenro-san leaves Wakabaya, they visit No. 84, 85, 86, and No. 87, Nagao-ji Temple, then stay overnight around Nagao. On the next day, most of them finish the pilgrimage at No. 88, Okubo-ji Temple.
さて、若葉屋の次の寝床となる長尾寺周辺で、2022年春に新しいゲストハウスがオープンしています。
Now, a new guest house opened in the spring of 2022 near Nagao.

以前、オーナーの藤嶋さんが若葉屋を訪ねてくださったので、今度は私がTEK-TEKさんを訪問しました。
The owner, Mr. Fujishima, visited Wakabaya before, so I visited TEK-TEK this time.
オーナーの藤嶋さん。藤嶋さんの優しさと実直さが現れたお宿をご紹介します。
The owner， Mr． Fujishima. Let me introduce the new guesthouse opened by the kind and earnest owner.
まずはドミトリー。このハシゴ。登りやすいぐらいの傾斜があって、上の方にはちゃんと手すりがついています。これ、ドミトリーの上段を実際に使ったひとにしかわからない、うれしいポイントです。
First, please look at the ladders in the dormitory. Each of them has a gentle slope and a handrail on the top. Only the traveler who has experienced the upper bunk knows that these ideas make it easy to go up and down the ladder.
ドミトリーはカプセル型。ベッドの横には荷物スペースもあって、安心です。
The dormitory is a capsule type. There is also a luggage space next to the bed, so it is safe.
シングルルームも数室、あります。
There are also several single rooms.
キッチン・食堂スペースは、オープンしてまだ数ヶ月とは思えないほどの設備の充実っぷりです。
The shared kitchen and dining space are surprisingly well equipped.
シャワーブースは、ゲストハウスでよくあるタイプのシャワーブースよりも一回り広いです。その広めのスペースには、腰掛けるための椅子が用意されています。歩き疲れたお遍路さんに、これはうれしい！
The shower booth is larger than the ones in many other guest houses. A small chair furnished in the booth is really helpful for tired pilgrims after long walking.
コインランドリースペースには乾燥機も完備。乾燥機は騒音が難点なのですが、間取りからして、客室にはあまり音がしないように思います。1泊だけのお遍路さんにとって、乾燥機はありがたいですよね。
The dryers are also equipped in the laundry space. They make noise usually however, I don’t think it reaches the guest room because of the good layout. The dryer is useful for a pilgrim who stays only for one night.
私が驚いたのは洗面所。よく、トイレで女性専用というのは見ますが、TEK-TEKさんでは洗面所にも女性専用があります。男性オーナーの宿とは思えない心配りです。
What surprised me more was the washroom. We often see the women’s toilet but TEK-TEK has a women’s washroom too. Well considered to female guests.
藤嶋さんのTEK-TEKは「えっ、本当に宿を始められてまだ数ヶ月なんですか！？」と思うほどの完成度の高さです。かと言って、やりすぎ感があるわけでもなく、あくまでシンプルであって、また、実際に歩き遍路をされているからこそできる、かゆいところに手が届く宿です。
Mr. Fujishima’s TEK-TEK is so perfect that I dought he has run it only for a few months, but his service and facilities are not too much. Attentive and simple.
駐車場も十分あるので、お遍路さんに限らず、観光、サイクリング、ツーリング、合宿など、いろいろな使い方ができます。
It has enough parking slots, so not only ohenro-san but also normal tourists and cyclists are also warmly welcomed.
