先日、家族で一泊の家族旅行…気分を味わってきました。
高松市内で。
We enjoyed a kind of family trip in Takamatsu.

「紺屋町ゲストハウス 久々（くく）」さんです。
ゲストハウス若葉屋から市内中心部方面へ自転車でわずか15分ぐらい。
We stayed at Kon’yamachi Guest House Kuku, which is located 15 minutes toward the city center by bicycle from Guest House Wakabaya.
オーナー、りささん（右）から「ご家族で泊まってみませんか？」とお声をいただきまして。
おそらく一般的には、この近距離の同業種だと「競合店」ということになるのでしょうが、高松市内のいくつかのゲストハウスはオーナーどうしが、こんな感じで仲がいいのです。
この居心地のよさというものは、地方都市でスモールビジネスを営む上ではけっこう、大切だと思います。
さて、こうやってチェックインを済ませて、

Generally speaking, we might be competitors within such a short distance however, some guest house owners in Takamatsu are friendly to each other.
When we run such a small business in a local town, this friendly business circumstance is important.
Now, after check-in at the entrance,

知らない空間の扉を開けるのは、わくわくするものです。
we open the door of the room at last.
To open a door of an unknown room is exciting.
あ、ちなみに、客室まではこの階段を上がります。
大荷物の方は、気をつけてね。
By the way, a guest needs to walk up these stairs to the rooms.
さて、お部屋です。
小さい子ども連れにとって、何が嬉しいかって、ベッドが低いこと！
そして、一見、ベッドとベッドの間が空いているように見えますが、その隙間はクッション材で埋まっているのが素晴らしい！
落ちません。
家族ではなく、友人どうしの旅行でも、ベッドとベッドが密着しているわけでもないので、変な密着感もありません。
Here is our room.
What a Japanese family traveler with small children needs is these low beds!
Moreover, the gaps between beds are closed with cushions.
Children don’t fall down.
It is good also for friend travelers that the beds are not touched by each other.
今回は三越でお惣菜を買ったのと、観光客気分を味わおうと、寄鳥味鳥で骨付鳥をテイクアウトして来て、これが夕食です。
調理器具、調味料、食器類も完備されているので、自炊もできます。
小さい子ども連れだと、外へ食べに行くのも一苦労するので、こうやって宿で気軽に食事ができるのは大きなメリットです。
また、近所には飲食店が多いので、外食にも事欠きません。
Our dinner was the cooked meals from Mitsukoshi department store and “Honetsukidori” chicken, one of the local specialties.
As cooking tools, seasonings and dishes are well equipped, self-cooking is also easy here.
Many restaurants are also located around.
宿の名前に「ゲストハウス」とは付いていますが、この個室に限ってはゲストハウスというよりも、コンドミニアムといった感じですね。
高松市内に宿泊施設が増えてはいるものの、案外、家族で泊まりやすい客室は増えていません。
紺屋町ゲストハウス久々の個室は、おすすめですよ。
This accommodation is named as “guest house” but its private room is rather a condominium than a guest house.
Though the number of accommodation in Takamatsu is increasing, the number of family rooms is not increasing much.
We recommend this Kon’yamachi Guest House Kuku’s private room for family use.
