この春も日本のお城を巡りながら撮影された一枚の写真を、送ってくださいました。
A Taiwanese lady who loves the Japanese castle stayed at wakabaya last year.
She visited Japanese castles this spring again and sent me one of her pictures.
3月30日の熊本城です。
この約半月後に、熊本地震が発生し、熊本城は大きな被害を受けました。
Kumamoto castle taken on 30th March.
A half month later that, strong earthquakes hit Kumamoto and caused big damage to the castle too.
若葉屋の今月分の売上見込額の10％を、熊本地震の復興のためにと、寄付しました。
半分は熊本地震義援金として熊本県に。
残り半分は熊本城災害復旧支援金として熊本市に。
We contributed 10% of wakabaya’s April sales for Kumamoto.
Half of it is for victims, the rest is for the recovery of Kumamoto castle.
熊本城がまた、この写真のような勇姿を取り戻して、国内外からの多くの観光客で賑わいますように。
We hope that the castle may show its brave figure again like this picture and welcome many tourists from all over the world again.
