先日、一足早く、引田のひなまつりへ行ってきました。
I visited Hiketa for the Girl’s Doll Festival with my family.
東かがわ市引田地区は香川県の東端、徳島県との県境に接しています。
Hiketa is at the east end of Kagawa prefecture and faces Tokushima pref.
引田のひなまつりはこのへんではちょっと有名で、ローカルニュースなどでは見知っていたのですが、行ったことがなかったので、行ってみることにしました。
引田の歴史ある町並み一帯の民家や商店が、ひなまつりの舞台です。
こんな洋品店の店先にも立派なひな壇が飾られています。
The stages of the festival are in private houses and shops in historical Hiketa town.
Dolls are displayed in a clothes store also.
こちらは民家の土間にお雛さん。
大きな会場にひな壇がどーんと飾られているのではなく、こうやって、人びとの日々の暮らしの中に、ひなまつり。
These dolls are in a private house.
Dolls are not displayed in a big hall with large-scale but they’re in a part of people’s daily life.
天気のいい日曜日ということもあって、広大な駐車場が車で埋め尽くされ、通り沿いもすごい賑わいでした。
普段は静かであろう引田の町は、活気であふれていました。

旧引田郵便局は、レトロな雰囲気のカフェとして営業中です。
The former Hiketa post office is opened as a café now with a nostalgic atmosphere.
今日、3月3日はひなまつりですね。
ちょうど今日、徳島方面へ向かわれるお客さん（女性）がいらしたので、徳島への道中にある引田のひなまつりをご紹介しました。
今日が最終日ということで、鳴門の渦潮は明日に延期して、今日は引田をゆっくり散策されるとのことでした。
その時、その場所でしか体験できない旅。

Today, the 3rd March is the Girl’s Day for this Doll Festival in Japan.
I introduced this Hiketa Doll Festival, which is on the last day to a check-outing young woman.
And she said me that she would change her plan to enjoy the festival in Hiketa.
Enjoy a trip which can be experienced only on that day and only at that place!

国産手袋の90％はここ、東かがわ市で生産されています。
だからと言って、手袋のひな飾りはシュールすぎるでしょ…。
90% of made-in-Japan gloves are produced around Hiketa, however, these “glove dolls” are too surreal…
