朝の若葉屋の駐輪場です。久しぶりにロードバイクでいっぱいになりました。香港からのチャリダー6人です。この台数（写真の外にもう1台）のロードバイクが若葉屋にやってきたのは2018年8月の岩手大学サイクリング部以来、6年ぶりです。
This is the bicycle parking area at Wakabaya in the morning. It is full of road bikes for the first time in a long time. They are six cyclists from Hong Kong. It has been six years that so many bicycles came to Wakabaya since the Iwate University Cycling Club came in August 2018.
普段はこの駐輪場に若葉屋のレンタサイクルや私たち家族の自転車、子ども用のストライダー、さらに喫煙所と乾燥機もあってすでにいっぱいになっています。しかしこうやってお客さんの自転車が駐輪場にたくさん並ぶときは、私たちの自転車などを第2駐輪場に移動できるようになりました。
Normally, this bicycle parking area is already full of our rental bikes, our family’s bikes, children’s striders, as well as an ashtray and a clothes dryer. However, when there are a lot of guests’ bicycles, we can move ours to the second bicycle parking area.
先月、外の物干し場に屋根を造ってもらってそこを第2駐輪場にしたのです。これまでは雨ざらしになることもあった大型バイクも、この屋根つきの第2駐輪場に停められるようになりました。
We had a roof built over the outside drying area and turned it into a second bicycle parking area last month. Also, large motorbikes, which used to be exposed to the rain, can now be parked in this covered second bicycle parking area.
ようやく涼しい秋の空気になってきました。四国一周サイクリング、しまなみ海道サイクリングのみなさま、さらにはバイクツーリングのみなさまのお越しをお待ちしております。
The cool autumn air has finally arrived. We look forward to welcoming cyclists riding around Shikoku and the Shimanami Kaido bridges, as well as motorbike tourers.
